The Centre for National Resilience Melbourne (CNRM)

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT QUARANTINE FACILITY

The Centre for National Resilience Melbourne (CNRM), developed for the Australian Government Department of Finance, was established to enhance Australia’s quarantine capabilities and provide critical infrastructure to support responses to future natural disasters and public health emergencies.

Rinfras was engaged to design and deploy the Integrated Communications Network (ICN) infrastructure for the facility. The deployment included more than 100+ network switches, 250+ wireless access points, and 1,300 Cisco IP phones, delivering a robust and scalable communications platform across the site.

In addition, Rinfras implemented a Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) platform to support virtualized environments for multiple contractors and operational services within the facility.

This project demonstrates Rinfras’s capability to deliver large-scale network infrastructure, server platforms, and cybersecurity-ready environments for complex government and enterprise projects. The successful deployments at the CNR Melbourne and CNR Perth facilities serve as strong case studies showcasing our expertise in infrastructure delivery and secure technology environments.
